Allison Dao, MSN-FNP, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. She graduated from the Holy Names University in Oakland, CA with a focus in family medicine. She has practiced in community health settings, private pulmonary and oncology practices, and locums for urgent care and occupational health practices. Allison has always been drawn to the medical field because of her love and understanding of science and passion for helping others on a personal level. One of her favorite parts of being an FNP is practicing in different communities and connecting with people from all walks of life.
The event that launched her career in medicine was her trip to Brazil, Honduras, Mexico, and Vietnam with Loma Linda University to help the underserved villages. She was able to explain, inform, and empower her patients about how to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
In her free time, Allison loves to explore the outdoors with her two border collies. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, arts & crafts, and bee keeping.
