Ann Moffett, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in both traditional and functional medicine. She began her healthcare career at Boise State University, earning her Associate’s RN degree in 2004. With over 13 years of bedside nursing experience, primarily in Labor and Delivery, Ann developed a deep understanding of patient care and advocacy. In 2017, she furthered her expertise by earning her Master’s degree from the University of South Alabama and obtaining her Nurse Practitioner credentials.
Ann’s passion for functional medicine was sparked by a pivotal moment in her personal life when her husband faced a serious illness. Frustrated by the limitations of conventional treatments, she sought a more holistic approach—incorporating nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and personalized supplementation based on DNA analysis. Witnessing firsthand the profound impact of addressing root causes rather than symptoms, she shifted her practice to focus on patient-centered, functional medicine. She now integrates these principles into her care, empowering patients to take an active role in their health.
Before joining OnePeak Medical, Ann provided primary care services in the Coos Bay area since 2021. She remains dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through a blend of evidence-based and functional medicine practices.
In addition to managing acute and chronic conditions, Ann provides a range of family and occupational health services, including workman’s compensation evaluations, DOT exams, sports physicals, and routine wellness visits. She prioritizes listening deeply to her patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and fully engaged in their treatment plans.
A native of a small town near Boise, Idaho, Ann has built a life centered around family, adventure, and creativity. She and her high school sweetheart, now husband, have four children and enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and exploring with their energetic standard poodles. In her spare time, Ann finds joy in reading novels, painting with acrylics, and playing the violin. She regularly participates in local Celtic jam sessions and has recently taken up ballroom dancing with her husband.
