Babbette Murphy, MSN, ACNP-BC, (she/her/hers) has been a healthcare professional for over 28 years and a Nurse Practitioner for over 10 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of California Santa Cruz, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Touro University. She went on to complete her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner training at the University of California San Francisco and Stanford University.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Babbette was an ER, Acute Care, and Trauma Nurse. She continued in these areas as a Nurse Practitioner and Hospitalist, as well as gained experience in primary care, urgent care, and long-term and post-acute care.
As a single mother of a young teenager, Babbette developed a keen interest in supporting, guiding, and coaching the community’s youth. Babbette strives to provide a safe and supportive environment through a holistic approach to healthcare that encompasses the complexity of her patient’s physical and emotional needs.
