Chelsey McCauley, MSN, FNP-C

Chelsey McCauley, MSN, FNP-C, is a passionate and experienced family nurse practitioner at OnePeak Medical! With over 12 years of nursing experience, Chelsey brings a diverse background in trauma, emergency medicine, wellness, and primary care to her patients.

After earning her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Chelsey spent 7 years in trauma and emergency medicine across four different states. Witnessing patients becoming sicker than ever, particularly after the pandemic, inspired her to pursue advanced education. She received her master’s degree from Walden University, transitioning into a wellness clinic to provide more holistic care. Chelsey’s career took a transformative turn when she moved to Alaska, gaining new insights into healthcare while working as a flight nurse, in urgent care, and in primary care clinics. Her time in Alaska’s native villages deepened her understanding of how lifestyle choices impact overall health.

Although she has always enjoyed the fast-paced environment of acute care, Chelsey’s passion has shifted towards preventative care and root cause medicine—helping patients stay healthy and avoid emergency visits.

Outside of work, Chelsey and her family live for the outdoors. Whether snowboarding, backcountry touring, cross-country skiing, or fly fishing in the summer, they embrace an active, healthy lifestyle. They are also avid hunters and gardeners who value organic food and sustainability, taking pride in living off the land and spending time in the kitchen canning their harvests.
