Maleitha Nard, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with 18 years of experience in healthcare. She has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with a holistic approach that aligns seamlessly with OnePeak Medical’s functional medicine philosophy.
Maleitha earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi, as well as her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from the University of Texas. She has been a practicing FNP since 2020 and a PMHNP since 2022, with extensive experience in both primary and mental health care. Her journey in healthcare began in 2007, and in 2012, she transitioned into mental health, working as a psychiatric RN until 2020.
Passionate about breaking down barriers in mental health services, Maleitha specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and eating disorders. She is deeply committed to advocating for mental health awareness and helping her patients achieve positive outcomes through individualized care.
Outside of her practice, Maleitha enjoys Pilates, crafting, and traveling to explore different cultures.
