Michelle Phelps, MSN- FNP-C, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in emergency department trauma nursing and Intensive Care services for Cardiac and Open-Heart surgical patients in Visalia California. For the last year, she has been working as an FNP in an acute care setting specializing in identification of illness and acute treatment.
Michelle believes functional medicine allows her to connect with each patient on a deeper level and investigate further into the root cause of their health complaints. She takes the time to piece together their health history in order to provide the individualized care needed to treat all aspect of their health.
She originally moved to Roseburg Oregon to be closer to family and enjoys the outdoor experiences Oregon has to offer. She enjoys camping, fishing, reading, painting, and spending time with her family. She believes in living a healthy lifestyle which consists of fitness and healthy eating. Her motto is “a healthy mind aids in having a healthy body.”
