Tara Wendlandt, MSN, FNP-C

Tara Wendlandt, MSN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Originally from Kansas, she began her undergraduate education in nursing at Fort Hays State University and went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing from Fort Hays State University. During her time at FHSU, she also worked in the intensive care unit, cardiac step-down unit, and medical-surgical unit of a critical access hospital. More recently, she has worked in primary care and urgent care in Grants Pass for the past seven years.
As an active member of the Oregon Nurse’s Association, Nurse Practitioners of Oregon, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Tara has a special interest in functional medicine, specifically disease prevention. She is excited to integrate functional medicine treatment plans with diet and exercise to help patients reach their highest health potential. Her focus goes beyond treating disease, Tara strives to find and treat the underlying issue, coaching her patients on how to manage their health instead of managing their symptoms.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, archery, furniture restoration, cross-stitching, and spending time with her teenage son and house full of pets.
