April Theisen, PA-C

April Theisen, PA-C, has over 17 years of experience in various medical settings including regenerative medicine, ICU, emergency room, urgent care, volunteering in the homeless veterans’ clinics, and traveling to Mexico for medical mission work. Before PA school, she also served as a Paramedic Firefighter in her community.

Through a tragic personal injury, April learned that conventional allopathic methods do not always lead to total health, healing, and wellness. This experience led her to seek additional care and training in regenerative medicine and other bioidentical hormone replacement methods. In 2015, she became the first PA to complete the UC Irvine fellowship in ultrasound.

April is passionate about treating her patients as a whole and bringing a complete sense of vitality to their lives by first uncovering the source of disease and illness. She understands that injuries, setbacks, stress, and hormone imbalances hinder the body’s ability to heal and ultimately cause disease. April has a particular interest in muscular-skeletal injuries, sexual wellness, men’s health, and care for police, firefighters, and the military. She is committed to helping her patients reach their goals in healing and optimum health.

In her free time, she loves to travel with her family and crazy pup, Brew. Together they enjoy music, mountain biking, hiking, yoga, painting, and tacos!
