More About Dr. Daniel Ananyev

As an experienced healthcare professional, Dr. Daniel Ananyev, DO, MHA, ABOM, FAAFP, joins OnePeak Medical as both Medical Director and provider. Dr. Ananyev began his journey at UCLA, where he majored in Psychobiology, subsequently obtaining his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at the Western University of Health Sciences. A passion for comprehensive healthcare led him to specialize in Family Medicine, a field that resonates deeply with his belief in treating the individual as a whole, and complete his residency at the Glendale Adventist Family Medicine Program in California.

Dr. Ananyev has worked in neonatal, urgent, gynecologic, and complex outpatient care while at OHSU/Portland Adventist Medical Center. He was a medical director at Marquis Mills Park Acute Rehabilitation facility, and as a family physician with the Providence Health St. Joseph system, he has cared for a complex patient panel. Since 2020, he has treated patients acutely affected by COVID-19 across Oregon with the Providence Virtual Sick Clinic (VSC) and as the medical director for the Providence Portland and St. Vincent Weight Management Programs, oversaw a healthcare team composed of nurse practitioners, nutritionists, and health educators. Recently, Dr. Ananyev helped establish an outpatient wellness and weight management program at the VIP Wellness and Medispa clinic.

• Osteopathic Medicine: Rooted in the belief that the body is a self-healing system, Dr. Ananyev has integrated osteopathic principles into his practice to provide patients with a unique, hands-on approach to healing.
• Integrative/Functional Medicine: Recognizing the importance of addressing the mind, body, and spirit in healthcare, Dr. Ananyev continues to explore all that integrative medicine has to offer patients a comprehensive and holistic approach to wellness.
• Obesity Medicine: Understanding the pressing issue of obesity in our society, Dr. Ananyev has specialized in Obesity Medicine to help patients achieve sustainable weight management and improved overall health.

Dr. Ananyev is excited to be working with the One Peak Medical team to provide our community with the highest standard of care; where innovation, collaboration, and an integrative approach are the cornerstones of the healthcare experience. In his free time, he enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his family such as hiking to waterfalls, camping, and skiing.
