Monica A. Weires, MSN, FNP-BC, completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) at Bradley University in Peoria, IL, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain University in Chicago, IL.
Monica’s goal is to help patients feel better by identifying and addressing the underlying causes of their health concerns, avoiding unnecessary treatments. She believes in collaboration with patients, involving them in the care planning process to work as a team towards their ultimate health goals. Monica prioritizes delivering excellent and individualized patient care, recognizing that each person requires a unique approach.
Having completed intensive training in Aesthetic Medicine at the National Laser Institute in Dallas, Texas, Monica is skilled in various treatments such as laser therapy, Kybella® and sclerotherapy, dermal fillers, injectables, PRP, and absorbable PDO threads. She is particularly interested in optimizing hormone therapy and supporting patients with weight loss, aiming to help them achieve optimal health and well-being.
Outside of her medical practice, Monica’s love for animals is evident as she cares for her own small “zoo” of furry companions. She also enjoys playing softball and attending movies and plays.
