Sarah Kalina, MSN, FNP-C

Sarah Kalina, MSN, FNP-BC, is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. As a native Oregonian, she began her education at Oregon State University and graduated from the nursing program at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU). She worked in the intensive care unit and emergency room before and while attending OHSU where she received her Masters in Nursing with honors. She has worked in primary care in Oregon City for 13 years.

Professionally, Sarah is a member of the Oregon Nurse’s Association, Nurse Practitioners of Oregon and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys mentoring future nurse and nurse practitioner students and volunteering at local free clinics. She has a special interest in women’s health care, specifically disease prevention, menstrual abnormalities and family planning.

Sarah believes her patients can reach their health potential by incorporating healthy lifestyle and diet changes. She wants to not only treat disease but work on treating the underlying processes and inspire patients to reach their optimum health goals.

Personally, she enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with her husband and four children who are all avid Oregon State College Football fans.
