What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a safe, effective, and pain-free treatment that uses a gentle surgical shaving tool to remove dead skin cells. This professional exfoliation method should only be performed by individuals who have received appropriate training. This is not something to try on your own or have a friend do for you.
The goal of this treatment is to remove the top layer of skin cells that consists mostly of dead skin cells, dirt, oil, and bacteria. As a result, the skin is left looking radiant. Any peach fuzz is also removed from the skin leaving your skin silky smooth.
Like many other exfoliation treatments, dermaplaning encourages the skin to produce healthy cells more quickly. You are likely to enjoy longer-term results if performed on a regular basis.

The entire face from the forehead to the chin will be treated in around 30 minutes and can be performed about once per month for optimal results.

She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas.

She calls upon her studies in creative expression to help her empower patients with options for how they present themselves to the world. Her training as a neurosurgical ICU nurse sparked her fascination with the body’s ability to heal its own tissues and overcome the damage. Throughout her career, Essie has excelled at establishing a great rapport with patients by selecting suitable treatment modalities and educating them about the risks, benefits, and expectations of each treatment. She specializes in cosmetic medical procedures to help her patients look refreshed, radiant, and more like their best selves.
